Check on Birth Order Reveals Startling Statistics

A study by the University of Chicago and reported by Health Day News found that of 198 centenarians born in the U/S., that the first-born children were more likely to reach 100 than later-born siblings. Longevity was linked to their being born when their mother s were in their teens or early 20’s.

Further checking revealed that women were 3-5 times as likely to reach 100 then men.
